I have had many years experience training and working with animals. I have had great success with training my particular dog breed of interest – The Alaskan Malamute having put Obedience, Conformation and working titles on this difficult to train breed. I train many dog breeds as a hobby and I also have experience in the breaking and training of horses for equestrian purposes (Dressage). I also have cat training experience.

I have handled cats on set for A & J ANIMAL HOUSE and my dogs have featured in numerous commercials. My Agents, A & J ANIMAL HOUSE, regularly employ my dogs to go on set for many and varied clients in the TV/ film and advertising industry.  I enjoy working the dogs on set in front of the cameras, it is good fun and good training. I have also appeared with Laika a number of times on Harry's Practice, with Dr Katrina Warren. 

I am an Accredited Canine Good Citizen Instructor & RNSWCC Instructor, a ANKC Group 6 (Utility) and ANKC Group 5 (Working) Conformation Judge, (US Working and Herding Equivalent), have an Associate Diploma in Horse Management, A Certificate IV in Workplace Assessment and Training, a Bachelor of Commerce, as well as a Graduate Certificate in Journalism . I worked for several years as a Professional Scent Detection Dog Handler (Customs), and have since successfully trained my Golden Retriever to find Truffles.
