January/ February 2010: Doc and I only had two outings in January - with BOB and a Best Open In Group. The rest of January was quiet enjoying life at home. We found out in February that the rental we were living in had been sold and we had to find somewhere else to live. Most of February was spent looking, and then moving into our new/old rental, which I have affectionately named "Dodgeville 2". Better than Dodgeyville 1, we finished the move in early March... well as finished as you can ever be with most of our stuff in boxes while we wait for our new house to be built! |

March 2010:

In March I finally got to start Doc's show
"campaign"; although for me this means showing more than once a
month - so not as big a campaign as some might think. We had 5 shows in March, which Doc has gained
5x BOB and 1x
RUBIG and
2 x OIG. |

April 2010: April saw
me head down to Victoria for a weekend of shows with the Docket and
we did extremely well. In Excellent competition in 4 shows Doc
gained 1 x
BIG and
3 x RUBIG.
What a magic weekend, big breed & group entries and excellent
company. |

May 2010: The highlight of May was going away at the end of the month to Victoria to see my Dad & Mum, and on the way showing at Junee on the Friday and the Docket going Runner Up Best In Show. Below is a photo of us taken with the Judge:

June 2010: June saw a
judging appointment in Tasmania which was wonderful. However, the
rest of June saw me having to stay home
with the flu :( MISERABLE. |

July 2010: I got out to one show in July (yes only one) and Doc won RUBIG. He performed beautifully on the day. These photos taken by Edwina of Border Pix N Art were taken after judging had finished, of Doc and I having fun.
The rest of the month has been spent helping out on Committee for the Bungendore dog shows, Judging in Victoria and then a lovely planned weekend at home. |

August 2010: The first weekend in August saw me head with a pile of friends out to Broken Hill for the very first time. The drive across on the Friday was lovely - I have not been across the Hay plains and it reminded me of the days I lived in the Gulf of Carpentaria - I will have to get back up there one year! I put on a talking book once daylight arrived and the hours flew by, literally. I love my talking books :) The Broken Hill Lakeview Caravan Park was lovely - the room lacking nothing, well insulated from the noise of dogs barking in trailers, and dark - I slept very well. In the morning we headed off to the grounds and they were lovely - green lawns - congratulations to the Broken Hill Dog Clubs for keeping such a lovely and green grassed venue! In a good aussie entry Doc won Best of Breed all four shows. My friend with her aussie bitch, that types up nicely to Doc being also of Heatherhill lines, went RUBOB for the three shows she entered, then TiVo, another Sutter bitch went RUBOB on the last show. I also took away a Beardie Minor Puppy Bitch for Jess Buckley, who is just beautiful. She got BOB in the three shows I had her entered in, 2x Minor Puppy In Groups and 1x Minor Puppy In Show - Go Dizzee :) , with lots of frilly's to give Jess :) :) My friend Mark took some lovely photos of Dizzee, which I will post when they come through. Insert Pictures of Dizee here I also travelled to Coolamon-Ganmain and did really well with Dizzee, Jess's Beardie gaining the Trifecta of Minor Puppy In Groups, as well as 2 BCC's over older competition. Insert Dizee Pictures here |

September 2010: September saw only three shows for the Docket with Docket successful winning 1x Best In Group and 2x Runner Up to Best In Groups. I also had the pleasure of travelling to Sydney to assess the Judges Trainees for one of their Field nights. It is always nice to give back to our wonderful hobby, and while it is a long drive up and back, it is worth it when providing mentoring for my wonderful breed. |

October 2010: October was a quiet month again for showing, with Doc having 4 outings and gaining 4 Best of Breeds. We did get out to our first two obedience trials for 2010 (and only two obedience trials for 2010); and gained two qualifying scores towards Doc's CD title - Go Doc!!!! I was so proud of him, as I have very little time to train, and what I generally end up doing is "invisible" training - the stuff that just happens in day to day life. So proud of my boy. |

November 2010: While I was unable to do the Victorian Specialty this year due to work, I was able to get away for my regular weekend at Far South East Kennel Club. My good friend Lisa came up and joined me with her girls Poppy and Luna, and overall we had a successful weekend with Doc taking 1x Best In Group, Poppy taking 1x Intermediate in Group, and Luna taking 1x Minor Puppy In Group :) I had planned to do more shows in November however only got to one, with Doc gaining a BOB, due to my old malamute Cuddles getting bitten by a snake and being in intensive care, and then a couple of weeks later his sister Woofie (both almost 12 years old); having to have a cancer cut out of her skull. So most of November was spent at home nursing the oldies, much beloved as they are. |

December 2010: I
finished the year with two shows, and two Best of Breeds. My friend
Lisa again joined me, with her girl Poppy and below are some photos
